Equipment Returns & Donation Refunds

Received Equipment Return Policy

Blessings Delivered is grateful for the generosity of individuals and organizations who donate equipment to support our mission. To ensure fairness, safety, and accountability, we have established the following guidelines regarding donated equipment returns.

1. Donations Are Final

All equipment donations made to Blessings Delivered are considered final gifts and become the property of the organization once received. Donated items cannot be returned to the donor except under limited circumstances outlined below.

2. Exceptions

A donation may be eligible for return if:

  • The donation was made in error (e.g., wrong item delivered, duplicate shipment).

  • The item was provided under a loan agreement rather than as a permanent donation, with written documentation stating such.

  • A legal or regulatory requirement obligates the return.

3. Condition of Donated Equipment

Donations are accepted “as-is.” Blessings Delivered cannot guarantee that donated equipment will remain in the same condition as when received. Items may be repaired, repurposed, or redistributed according to the organization’s needs.

4. Safety & Compliance

Blessings Delivered reserves the right to decline, recycle, or dispose of equipment that:

  • Presents a safety hazard

  • Fails to meet compliance standards

  • Cannot be reasonably used or repurposed for organizational purposes

5. Requesting a Return

If you believe a donated item should be returned under the exceptions above, please contact us within 30 days of the donation:

Requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and Blessings Delivered reserves the right to make the final determination.

6. Acknowledgment

By donating equipment, donors acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Donated Equipment Returns Policy.

Blessings Delivered Donation Acceptance Policy

Blessings Delivered deeply appreciates the generosity of our donors. Contributions of time, funds, and equipment make it possible for us to fulfill our mission and serve our community. To ensure transparency and fairness, we have established the following Donation Acceptance Policy.

1. General Policy

  • All donations—whether financial contributions, equipment, or other in-kind gifts—are accepted at the discretion of Blessings Delivered.

  • Once received, all donations become the property of Blessings Delivered and may be used, repurposed, or distributed in a manner consistent with our mission.

2. No Refunds

  • All donations are final and non-refundable.

  • We cannot return funds, equipment, or other contributions once they have been received, except in the case of an error (such as duplicate transactions or misdirected payments).

3. Equipment & In-Kind Donations

  • Donated equipment must be safe, functional, and appropriate for use in our programs.

  • Blessings Delivered reserves the right to decline, recycle, or responsibly dispose of any equipment that does not meet organizational needs or safety standards.

  • All in-kind donations are accepted “as-is” without guarantee of future use, maintenance, or return.

4. Acknowledgments & Tax Receipts

  • Donors may request a written acknowledgment of their donation for tax purposes.

  • It is the donor’s responsibility to determine the fair market value of any in-kind contributions for tax reporting.

5. Restricted Donations

  • If a donor wishes to restrict their gift to a specific program or purpose, Blessings Delivered will make every effort to honor that request. However, if the designated program is fully funded, closed, or otherwise no longer viable, Blessings Delivered reserves the right to redirect funds where they are most needed.
